Thought this video was appropriate for this group. Some of the ideas capture what I'm trying to do with the class, especially in regards to the group work and projects.
Loved the right brained method of presenting the information. The mode of public education is one that gets debated within my circle of friends frequently as we wade through the sea of homeschooling. Tests or no tests, curriculum or no curriculum, the three R's plus??? I think the future will be different and the way children or even adults are educated should allow for more "divergent thinking". Maybe it's that the world has always needed people who can think creatively, and see the world in different ways and synthesize information more effectively. Interesting, my right brained son would love the visuals.
