It's about time FDA!!!!

This week for my media article titled FDA Proposes Calories Counts on Menus, it talked about how the FDA has recently proposed that all food chains, grocery stores, bakery stores and any place that sells food except for movie theaters, airplanes and coffees chains put calorie counts on the menu which I think is unfair, if you are going to require that these places put the amount of calories for their food on their menus all places that sell food regardless if the primary focus is to sell food or not should be required to put calorie counts, if the bussiness sells food the calories should be presented. No Exceptions. This comes about in response to the huge obesity problem of the states and is apart of the health legislation signed into law last year, studies estimate that 280,000 bussinesses will have the calorie count apply and will fully be in affect next year 2012. I for one am glad the FDA finally decided to do something and things are starting to change.
